The CIBNET is a service for real estate agents to market and search for commercial properties online. The service also offers links to other information providers on the Internet. To become a member of the CIBNET you must accept the terms of this Agreement.
Consent to Advertise... As a member, I agree that I will not advertise any property on the CIBNET for which I have not received written authorization from the owner allowing such advertisement.
CIB does not verify any information posted to the service and does not guarantee the accuracy or proper use of such information by any party. CIB does not monitor or resolve disputes between members and/or owners of the advertised properties. Commission agreements must be negotiated between readers of posted information, there is no offer of agency or sub-agency as a result of information on this service.
Accuracy of Information... As a member, I act as the publisher of my content, and I am solely responsible for the information that I post and for my interaction with other members of this service. CIB has obtained its information from sources we believe to be reliable, but we make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy of the information. Members agree that the CIB is allowed to republish postings to the listserves in any manner the CIB feels is appropriate. Our listserves are restricted to advertising Real Estate and/or related goods and services for sale or lease or the need for same.
Indemnification... As a member, I agree to indemnify and hold CIB harmless from any claims, including attorney's fees, resulting from my use of the service which causes direct or indirect damage to myself or another party. I agree to maintain current industry standard virus protection on my systems to protect myself and other members of this network.
Single User Agreement... I agree that this service is exclusively for my use and not for the use of other agents and brokers within my office. I will not share my password with anyone other than my personal assistants
This Agreement is executed in Texas, and it is agreed that Texas law (regardless of conflicts of law principles) shall govern this Agreement, and that any dispute related to this Agreement shall be subject to the federal and state courts in Texas.
Please note that you can not become a member of the CIB and the CIBNET without accepting this Agreement. Please print this form and mail to us with your payment.
